Our Story
Sean started to learn cooking when he was a kid in Seoul, helping his mother prepare family meals. Of course rice was never a missing component. Mother who always prepared and cooked foods for family with love and caring, had taught him how to make it from the heart.
Many, many years later, after He had worked for various global investment banks (Seoul, HK, Singapore, Paris and New York), trading Asia-Pacific equity & bond derivatives, he finally moved to Melbourne in 2010 to spend more time with family. His family opened the small shop in Ivanhoe, where Korean cuisine was completely unknown back then. They have endeavored to introduce wholesome homemade Korean food to local patrons since November, 2010 and still trying to present their passion and love in the food. They are just happy to hear whenever locals say “this is first time to try Korean food in my life, but I Love it!” or “Now I know at least one Korean food, Bibimbap!”.
